This means that all you have to do to charge the battery each time is simply press the "Start" button on the charger. The Smart technology will take care of the charging process automatically.

Each Smart LiPo battery comes with either an IC3 or IC5 output connector, which is designed to be compatible with older devices that have EC3 and EC5 connectors. While you can still use Smart Batteries with older systems, the full benefits of Smart technology will only be evident when connected to a Spektrum Smart device.
